Quince Años

Quinceañeras and Quince Años celebrations are held at Holy Spirit during our regularly scheduled Parish Masses.  Young people have two options on picking a date for their blessing:

  1.  We have two Saturdays available a year; once in June and once in October.  They take place during a 5:00 pm Saturday Mass.
  2.  If the young woman/man is interested in having their blessing closer to their birthday, and the ORDO allows it, they can pick a Sunday Mass near their birthday.  

The requirements for having a Quince Años Blessing at Holy Spirit Include:

1. Be a registered member at Holy Spirit or provide a letter from your home parish giving you permission to receive your Quince blessing at Holy Spirit.  
2. Have received all of the Sacraments of Initiation
3. Be enrolled in our Youth Ministry program at Holy Spirit or an equivalent program at your home parish
4. Attend the Quince Preparation Class, which includes a $25 materials fee. 

(Since the blessing takes place during a regularly scheduled Mass their is no charge for the ceremony. The only charge is the $25 materials fee for the class).
